Here's My Take: "You cant compare eras. Times change and so do the games. Hockey is a great example. They wore less protective gear 30 years ago, but the players were smaller and skated slower. In todays game, you have guys 6'6", 275lbs, skating at 30 mph, smashing into guys. Never had that 30 years ago." MYT

Here's My Take: "In the past, they took chances. Player were even allowed to play hurt. Now days if they get a little scratch they sit them out. They dont want to lose a player and still be responsible for paying them. It's all about money." MYT
